Verona, with its elliptical shaped body and the stark white of its overlapping lid is an unusual piece in the Porcelainia repertoire. It is named for the Italian city, Verona, which has been a major center of the arts for centuries. Verona was the setting for Shakespeare's most famous play, "Romeo and Juliet."
