Hellas

This piece is named for the home of the great philosophers, Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. It is the most unique work in the series. Because of its round bottom, Athens will be supported by a custom-made ceramic pedestal. Athens was formed from a stellated octahedron constructed from 16 irregular tetrahedra: eight from the cube truncated to form piece #787 and eight from the cube truncated to form piece #788.
