Spheres of Pythagoras

Moses 14th Century BCE
Moses was the Hebrew Prophet from the Old Testament who delivered the Torah to Israel. He is thought by some the inventor or “bringer” of the alphabet. Similar to his experience with Persian, Chaldean and Egyptian wisdom traditions, Pythagoras had a syncretic understanding of Judaism and the teachings of Moses. The philosophy of Pythagoras drew from his exposure to Judaic elements. The alphanumeric quality of the Hebrew alphabet resonates well in Pythagoras’ philosophy that the Universe could be understood through the science of numbers.
